Hokey is the overachiever of the Heartlets. He was entered in the first ever Rally obedience trial - when he was 6 weeks old! Deb didn't even know which puppy was going to be hers yet, but she entered him for the trial 6 months later. And he lived up to it - he earned scores of 100, 99 & 99 to become the first Tervuren in AKC history to earn a Rally title! He has gone on to do wonderfully in the upper levels of Rally as well, and is titling in every venue he has entered so far. |

Hokey became the first Sensation Heartlet to earn the ABTC's Versatile Tervuren designation, with titles in 4 different AKC venues, by earning his NA title in April 2007. He also earned his AKC VCD1 title in October of 2006. Herding has been a very successful venue as well, in both AKC and ASCA. Agility is coming along very nicely, with Hokey being ahead of his handlers for the most part (the way it usually is!). He has all three Excellent titles in AKC agility now. |

Hokey is currently fighting (and beating) lymphoma, diagnosed in fall of 2009. We are hoping and praying that he can be one of the small minority of dogs who can be cured of this awful disease, and so far everything is going really well. We are SO hoping he can live a happy, long life - if for no other reason but to keep Deb laughing at her "nerd"! He's going about life as usual, earning his CDX in Sept '10 and working on his UD. And not only is Hokey the first ever Sensation VST dog (earning his title in June '10), he is now the first Sensation CT, having passed his TDX on 12/12/10! . What a dog! |

| Hokey was named the Top Companion Dog in a Top Dog contest held in NY state by the Freedom Guide Dogs for the Blind and was honored at a banquet in April 2011. He's definitely a Top Dog to us! |  |
